An rare early Southern watercolor silhouette depicting a woman riding side saddle on her steed with a well dressed gentleman looking on.   Housed in an early red painted frame that is the perfect complement to the watercolor.  Found in Kentucky.  Ca. 1830-1840.  Measuring 14" by 12" overall, with a site measurement of 9 1/2" by 7 1/2".
