Pair of 19th C. Charcoal Paintings

This is a fine pair of charcoal paintings, clearly done by the same artistic hand.  Found together in Pennsylvania.  Very finely executed with attention to detail.  One is of a large estate on the banks of a river or lake.  The other is some sort of academy, school, or hospital, also on  the banks of a river or lake.  Housed in matching frames.  A terrific pair of early charcoals.
