Early Hanging Wall Cupboard

This fine early hanging wall cupboard still retains its original red wash.  It has a chamfered, raised panel door that opens to an interior with two fixed shelves.  Square nail and pegged construction.  This cupboard has a fabulous dry surface!  And the back board has a name painted on it in the same red wash, most likely the maker.  I can't make out any more than "John C. G____, F____, VA" .  A great country made piece!  Circa 1840.
