Outstanding 19th C. sandpaper painting. Finely executed fantasy painting depicting two people on horseback riding by a castle ruins and heading towards a small New England town. Lots of fine detail in this pristine sandpaper painting. Lots of sparkle not possible to show in these photos. Housed in a lovely 19th C. walnut frame with gold liner, original glass, framed measuring 34 1/2" by 28", sight measuring 27 1/2" by 20 3/4". Excellent condition. Professionally framed and preserved with acid-free backing.
